before applying

✨ Photoshoot Locations
Most sessions will take place at our studio in Bonne Terre, MO, or nearby locations. Some creative shoots may take place in the St. Louis area or beyond. If any travel fees apply, they will always be communicated in advance. All shoot details, including locations, themes, and scheduling options, will be shared before sign-ups open.

✨ Other Ambassador Programs
Participation in other ambassador or brand programs is welcome, as long as it aligns with the guidelines of those programs.

✨ Ambassador Investment Policy
The ambassador investment is non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to the personalized nature of this experience and limited number of available spots, we are unable to offer refunds.

✨ A Personalized Ambassador Experience
One of the most exciting parts of the ambassador season is creating intentional, one-on-one experiences with each dancer. The personalized pop-up photoshoot gives us the opportunity to connect with each ambassador, celebrate their individuality, and create a unique experience designed just for them.

✨ Potential Additional Fees
Some creative concepts may include optional add-ons such as styling, wardrobe, or professional makeup services. Any additional costs will always be communicated in advance, and participation will remain optional.

✨ A Creative Experience, Not a Modeling Agency
The Focal Pointe Ambassador Program is designed to celebrate creativity, confidence, and connection through dance photography. No modeling experience is required, and this program is not affiliated with casting or scouting.

✨ Kindness & Community Matter
We are looking for dancers who are kind, responsible, respectful, and excited to collaborate with our team and fellow ambassadors.

✨ Parental Involvement
For dancers under 18, a parent or guardian must remain actively involved with communication, scheduling, and important updates throughout the season.

✨ Facebook Communication Group
Important announcements, updates, and ambassador information will be shared through our private Facebook group. Please make sure you have access and notifications are turned on.

✨ Representing Focal Pointe
Ambassadors play an important role in sharing the Focal Pointe experience. We are looking for dancers who genuinely love creativity, photography, and dance, and who are excited to share their experience with others.

What We ASK
of our Ambassadors

✨ Submit Your Application & Photos by August 8
Complete and submit the application along with 3 photos for consideration. Professional images are not required. We want to see your personality, confidence, and love for dance.

✨ Public Instagram Account Encouraged
We love sharing and celebrating our ambassadors! Dancers are encouraged to have a public Instagram account so we can feature their journey throughout the season.

✨ Must Be an Active Dance Student
Applicants must currently be enrolled at a dance studio to be eligible.

✨ Facebook Account Required
A parent/guardian and/or dancer must have a Facebook account to join our private ambassador group for important updates, announcements, and communication throughout the season.

✨ Photoshoot Participation Required
Ambassadors must be available for their scheduled photoshoots throughout the season. Additional details, dates, and scheduling options will be provided upon selection. The September Bonus Creative Experience Photoshoot will be held at our studio in Bonne Terre, MO, with date and time options available.

✨ 6-Month Commitment
Ambassadors commit to the Season 5 experience from September 2026 through February 2027 by participating in photoshoots, engaging with ambassador opportunities, and sharing their Focal Pointe experience through social media.

Ambassador Investment

Selected ambassadors will participate in a creative, hands-on experience featuring styled photoshoots, professionally edited images, exclusive opportunities, and Focal Pointe merchandise. The total value of this experience is over $1,600. The ambassador investment is $699 and will be due upon acceptance into the program.

The Focal Pointe Ambassador Program is more than a series of photoshoots. It's a season-long creative experience designed for dancers who love expressing themselves through movement and artistic photography. Selected ambassadors will enjoy exclusive experiences, unique creative concepts, and opportunities available only through the program.

Applications are now open for Season 5! Dancers ages 7–25+ who are passionate about dance, enjoy expressing themselves through movement, and are excited to represent the Focal Pointe brand are encouraged to apply. A limited number of spots are also available for dancers ages 3–6 who bring big personalities and confidence in front of the camera.

Because we keep the program intentionally small, only a limited number of ambassadors will be selected. Dancers from anywhere in the U.S. are welcome to apply, provided they can fulfill the program commitments. Participation in other ambassador or brand programs is welcome, as long as it aligns with the guidelines of those programs.

Receive five beautifully edited high-resolution digital images of your choice from each Signature Creative Photoshoot (10 total), included with your experience (a $370 credit).

✨ Two Fine Art Edited Images + 2 Original Edits
Receive one custom Fine Art Edit from each Signature Creative Photoshoot (two total), featuring an image thoughtfully selected by the photographer. You'll receive both the professionally edited image and an enhanced Fine Art version, creating a unique finished piece perfect for displaying, sharing, or building your dance portfolio (a $280 value).

Enjoy an exclusive 20-minute ambassador-only creative photoshoot featuring a surprise concept created just for ambassadors. Three professionally edited digital images are included (photographer's choice). A gallery will also be available to view if you would like to purchase additional images. ($245 Value)
