Red Light Rebel
DESCRIPTION
A part of our studio will be transformed into a gritty, backstreet-inspired scene featuring street signs, graffiti, skateboards, and other city details. Dramatic lighting and the urban setting will create a cinematic backdrop for powerful dance images with plenty of attitude.
*Included in this set is a REAL, fully functional STOPLIGHT (super excited for this)!

ATTIRE, SHOES, HAIR, MAKEUP & ACCESSORIES
Attire:
Think urban, hip hop, grunge, or skate-inspired. Leather pants, baggy pants, graphic tees, oversized jackets, crop tops, mesh, or anything with an edgy streetwear feel.
Shoes:
Converse, combat boots, Dr. Martens, high-top sneakers, or other funky urban-inspired footwear.
Hair:
Have fun with it! Space buns, wild braids, messy styles, faux hawks, mohawks, or anything with an edgy feel.
Makeup:
Anything goes! Keep it natural or go darker with a rock-and-roll or grunge-inspired look.
Accessories & Props:
Bring anything that fits the urban vibe! Skateboards, chains, sunglasses, beanies, hats, bandanas, headphones, backpacks, leather jackets, funky jewelry, or other streetwear accessories can all work great with the set. I’ll also have props and set pieces available in the studio.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
This session is all about attitude, personality, and movement. We’ll use the stop light, shadows, graffiti, and urban elements throughout the set to create images that feel gritty, edgy, and cinematic.
Think beyond traditional dance poses. We’ll play with levels, angles, movement, and interaction with the set to create images that feel like they came straight out of the city.
