Colors in Motion
DESCRIPTION
A vibrant celebration of color, movement, and individuality!
An artist will hand-paint the backdrop in a variety of colors, creating a bold and artistic setting for the dancers. Each dancer will choose a signature color from a provided color list.
Dancers will wear a coordinating leotard or two-piece in their chosen color and will also be painted in unique artistic designs using that same color.
With each dancer representing a different color, the final collection of images will come together to create a bold, colorful, and cohesive series.

Minimum: 6 dancers | Maximum: 8 dancers
A minimum of 6 dancers must sign up for this shoot to open and be scheduled. A maximum of 8 dancers can participate, with one dancer assigned to each available color.

ADDITIONAL FEES
A professional makeup/body-paint artist is REQUIRED for this shoot to create the artistic designs on the dancer. If you are an artist or know someone that is a talented artist, feel free to let me know, as you do not have to use our MUA. They would just need to be in alignment with my vision for this photoshoot.
The cost of the artist will be an additional fee paid directly to the artist. More information on pricing will be provided once the shoot is scheduled.
ATTIRE, SHOES, HAIR, MAKEUP & ACCESSORIES
Color Selection: There will be 6–8 signature colors available, with only one dancer per color. Colors will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.
Once you select your color, your leotard or two-piece outfit must coordinate with that specific color. The dancer will also be painted using the same color.
Outfits: A coordinating leotard or two-piece dance outfit in your selected color is required.
Hair: Hair may be styled by the dancer or a parent, but it must be slicked back or braided back with no loose hair.
Makeup & Body Painting: We recommend hiring a professional makeup/body-paint artist to create the artistic designs on the dancer using their selected color. The designs can be customized to make each dancer’s look unique.
Shoes: No Shoes / Barefoot
CREATIVE DIRECTION
This shoot is all about individuality and artistic expression. We’ll be looking for creative, unconventional poses and movement that work with the dancer’s color and the painted backdrop.
Think bold shapes, interesting lines, unexpected movement, and artistic expression rather than traditional dance poses.
