Silver Lining

DESCRIPTION​

A striking play of silver, light, and color!

​

The dancer will be painted in silver and photographed on a high-shine reflective floor, creating beautiful reflections and a sleek, metallic effect. Colorful gel lights will illuminate the edges of the dancer, adding dramatic pops of color and dimension.

The session will feature both white and black backdrops, giving us two distinct looks and allowing the silver to shine in completely different ways.

Your painting time is in addition to your photography time! Once the dancer has been fully painted, they will receive a full 1-hour photography session. Time spent painting does not count toward the dancer’s 1-hour photoshoot.

CREATIVE DIRECTION
This shoot is all about artistic, unconventional movement and poses. Think outside the box! We’re looking for unique shapes, unexpected angles, and creative poses rather than traditional dance poses. Come prepared to experiment and create something completely different.

There is no minimum number of dancers needed to open this shoot, and there is no maximum number of dancers who can participate.

ADDITIONAL FEES

$25 paint & supplies fee

This covers the silver body paint and supplies needed for the session.

ATTIRE, SHOES, HAIR, MAKEUP & ACCESSORIES

Required Attire:  Dancers will need to purchase a 2-piece silver outfit, consisting of silver briefs and a silver bandeau or crop top.

​

Important: The dancer will be covered head-to-toe in solid silver paint, including their hair, to create the full metallic effect.

Hair:  Hair must be completely slicked back into a tight, low bun. The entire head and hair will then be covered in silver paint as part of the metallic look.

​

Makeup:  No professional makeup artist is needed. We will do the silver painting ourselves as part of the session.

​

Accessories:  No accessories needed.
