Splash of Color

DESCRIPTION​

A colorful twist on our popular Splash Dance sessions!

​

Shot after dark, we’ll use vibrant gel lighting to illuminate the water and create dramatic, dynamic images. We’ll play with different water effects, including buckets of water timed with your poses, misters, spray bottles, and other creative movement techniques.

​

This is a 2-dancer session, with dancers taking turns in front of the camera and relaxing in the hot tub between turns. Each dancer will receive approximately 1 hour of photography time, for a 2-hour total session.

The session will most likely run approximately 7:45–9:45 PM, depending on sunset.

Minimum: 4 dancers | Maximum: Unlimited

A minimum of 4 dancers must sign up for this shoot to open.  Once the minimum is reached, additional dancers may sign up with no maximum number of participants.

DATES

September -October (weather pending) Specific dates will be determined once we know how many dancers sign up for this shoot.

​

We will schedule 2 dancers per 2-hour time slot, allowing dancers to rotate in and out of our hot tub between turns. Since September evenings can be chilly, the hot tub will be a welcome way to warm up between shots!

​

ATTIRE, SHOES, HAIR, MAKEUP & ACCESSORIES​

Outfits:  Unlimited outfit changes within your scheduled time. A changing tent will be available.

​

Attire:  Dance leotards, two-piece dance outfits, or swimsuits in any color are recommended.  Make sure outfit does not become see through when getting wet.

​

💡 Tip: I recommend avoiding black, as the set will feature a black background with colorful pops of gel lighting. Bright or bold colors will really stand out!

​

Makeup:  Makeup is not required. If you choose to wear makeup, waterproof makeup is highly recommended, especially waterproof mascara.

​

Accessories & Props:  Get creative! Feel free to bring fun accessories or props such as rain boots, umbrellas, rubber duckies, or anything else that fits the colorful splash theme.
